What we do
Sadaqah Jariyah
Donations that contribute to the construction of sustainable projects have the benefit of continuation (sadaqah jariyah). Even after death, the donor will receive blessings for this. These are projects such as construction of a well, mosque, bridge or school building, for example.
A saying of the Prophet (peace be on him) regarding ‘sadaqah jariyah’: “When a person dies, his good deeds will be interrupted except for three things. A lasting good deed, or while a deed whose benefit does not stop, contributing to the transmission of knowledge and bequeathing children who still perform prayers after the death of the parent.”

How to help
Quran education
During our visit to the mosque in Bouderbala, we saw many children playing around the mosque and entering the mosque. The children were very excited and motivated to attend classes at the mosque. Only this is difficult if their parents don’t have the means to finance it. Therefore, we came up with the initiative to give the children the opportunity to take Quran lessons for free. Through a small amount of money from here, the children can learn Quran every week. It will be a sadaqah jariyah because the knowledge you pass on will keep running.
Support families
Villagers live in poverty and due to high costs, they cannot even get basic amenities. We would like to offer the opportunity to support the people throughout the year. During Ramadan, this will always be food parcels. Throughout the year, we want to listen to the needs of the people in Morocco, such as medical assistance or basic facilities and donations that will last for years,…
Masjid Al Ghofran
You can find our story under the ” Our story” section. Al Hamdoulilah, now that the mosque has been opened, people are praying massively in it. The construction of the mosque has ended on good terms. Gladly, we as a non-profit organisation Build Barakah would like to continue to maintain the Al Ghofran mosque. The construction is a sadaqah jariyah. Through small contributions, we can keep the mosque open for years to come, In Sha Allah.
